"We as human beings are deeply affected by our environment. In this chaotic culture of modern-day striving, it is important to surround ourselves with moments of peace, places that inspire us, and opportunities for creativity. My goal as an artist is to capture those fleeting moments when people take pause, those landscapes, pastimes, or pursuits that bring joy and serenity." Emily -- your Hells Gate series of images are marvelous! And they may in fact have changed my life!! I was very curious about this place, which became known to me directly because of your photos -- And now, just a short time later, I've become very interested in Possum King Lake, and am even investigating the possibility of moving there!!!
